My roommate and I lived at AZII for one year. The first night I stayed, someone attempted to break into my car. Later in the year, my stero was stolen out of my car. Also, two armed men came to my door one night looking to rob me. I fought with them and was shot in the head with what luckily was a BB gun. The office staff never warned the residents of the incident.
The other tenants were obnoxious and loud. The pool constantly had beer cans and cigarette butts in it. There were cockroach problems, leaking ceilings, broken heat/AC, and the maintence and office staff were horrible. It took months for anything to get fixed after repeated trips and phone calls to the office. Although re-painted and re-carpeted, the apartment was obviously very old. The tub/shower fixtures were almost completely rusted through.
Overall, an unsafe and terrible place to live.

I suggest that residents past and present begin a class action suit against AZ Commons II. The place should be shut down.
