I lived at Somerpointe (formerly Ashton Meadows) for a year from 7/2006-7/2007, I couldn't move out fast enough. They show you a super nice "model" apartment to get you sucked in, promise you a bunch of lies and then stick you in a -------- and don't respond to any maintnance calls. And if they do respond they dont usually fix the problem. My kids were constantly sick while we lived there, probably from mold due to the french doors that would poor water into the apartment each time it rained. They said those would be fixed also but never did. They said the new "energy efficient" windows would save money on the electric bill, which they probably would if only they were installed correctly without poor sealing, causing outragous bills. If all this wasnt bad enough, I can't forget about the roach infestation that I could never get rid of, I cleaned all the time, then the office told me that roaches like "clean". How the hell does that make sense'!' They would have the exterminator come in yet the roaches remained, I asked them to spray the neighbors apts as well, and they refused. It was an endless cycle, and I absolutely do not recommend renting here!
