Briarwood the nightmare!!

I have lived a Briarwood for 10 months and I cannot wait to leave. The first week went fine until my car was broken into and various things stolen from inside. The next month, during monsoon season, 5 apartments experienced a huge leak from the roof. Turns out the drains from the roof was clogged, this is understandable and forgivable. However, the Briarwood management was completely incompetent. After the initial drying (a company was hired that same day to remove most of the water, which was very quick), it took another two weeks to rip out the damaged walls in the master bathroom,, one week of nothing, and after much hassling, I finally was able to get the management to re-construct the bathroom. Before actual construction, the management ran a test for ASBESTOS, however neglected to tell me that I was NOT supposed to enter my own apartment for the 24 to 36 hours of testing (I did in fact stay in the apartment unknowingly at risk!!). Finally the problems were fixed only after threatening with legal action. Towards the end of this ordeal the Briarwood management offered to terminate my contract. They seemed to want to get rid of me so that they could work at their leisure to fix the problems. Another few months passed without a hitch and my car window was smashed. Luckily, I had installed an alarm just after the first break in and nothing was stolen. Badly lit area! Also if your apartment is on the main road (Ft Lowell) hope you??re a heavy sleeper because the cars are loud!
If you want some good advice from a resident of Briarwood, STAY AWAY!
