While I do think the area seems to be full of crime, this isn't a neighborhood review, it's an apartment review, and as far as briarwood goes, I have been happy hear for almost a year now. The grounds are kept neat and clean, and while the management sometimes seems a bit aloof, they are always efficient and helpful. It's proximity to the University brought me here, but the "Briardorm" and "Animal House" comments confuse me. Have you BEEN to Nothpointe or University House' THESE are college apartments and Briarwood simply does not have that type of atmosphere, at least in my building and the surrounding ones. Bottom line, it's an alright place to live, albeit the two bedrooms are a bit overpriced for the type of neighborhood the complex is in.
