Looks good until you move in

When I moved it I was told that the management would not give me a receipt for my rent. I explained to them that I really needed one because I was a student and I was getting reimbursed for some of my living expenses due to my University scholarship. It did not matter. They simply refused to give me a receipt for my money. It took forever to get anything repaired and every time I went to the office to request something, the management was defensive and unprofessional. Unlike any of the other places where I had lived before, everything was a problem. They charged my friend for putting a small bag of trash in front of her apartment. She looked over her lease agreement and could not find any provision that would allow them to do that. They took the fine away only after she showed them their own lease agreement and asked for the source of their authority to charge her any additional money. They will be sweet when they show you the place, but the minute you move in, they will become defensive and completely incompetent. They will recite many rules and restrictions to you, but the minute you need their assistance, they will do everything they can to avoid helping you.
