No Soundproofing! From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 1/4/2005 Years at this apartment: 2004 - 2004   We chose the 3 bedroom garden apartment. The space is great as is the price. However, one of the apartments above ours has their living area directly above two of our bedrooms and partially above the third (a second apartment's living area is above the remainder of ours). There is no soundproofing and we can hear everything...conversations, microwaves and every step. They wake our children at all hours, even with fans to drown out the noise. The whole building is cheaply constructed. The maintenance staff do what they can but aren't given the freedom (and money) to improve anything. This complex may be fine for you if you don't select a gardent apartment and don't have kids.
