Not a nice place to live From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 12/26/2001 Years at this apartment: 1998 - 2001   I first moved into Rancho Montana in Oct. of 98 and did not move out until May of 2001. When I first moved in they were under a different management that we wonderful! If you called with a problem, they responded that same day. But as soon as the current management took over, it all went down hill from there. I was living in a one bedroom and transfered to a two bedroom. I noticed that my daughter was sick and tired a lot and could not figure out why. Well, I was doing to normal kitchen cleaning after dinner and after I washed the counter top with a sponge, noticed there was paint on the counter top. So I looked at it, and sure enough, they painted the counter top. I then called the office and told them of the situation and it took almost two months to get a new counter top. At first they wanted to strip it down and get all the paint off, but I refused that. Then when they finally did get me a new counter top, the maintenance man they had install it did not know what he was doing. He did not hock up my dishwasher correctly. I started a load and noticed that the whole kitchen and the carpet in the hall were soaking wet! When we moved out in May of 2001, my fiance took two days off of work so he could make sure the apartment was clean. He shampooed the carpet and even went as far as taking the blinds off the window and cleaning every last section. Well, Dec. 20, 2001 we get a letter from the ass. man. that was dated Oct. 17,2001 and stated that if they did not receive $85.00 from us by the end of Nov. they were going to send us to collections. We did not get the letter until Dec. 20,2001. What is wrong with that picture. So, we got into our car and went back to the apartment complex to talk to the manager. (Who was not in) I was told that she would be in on Dec. 26th,2001. I have called every hour and have yet to talk to the manager. I strongly suggust that if you are considering this apartment complex, you find somewhere else. This place is nothing but bad news!!!!!!!!!
