Okay for short term

Years at this apartment: 2003 - 2003
I lived at Canyon Creek for 6 months.
Because I was living by myself, I wanted to rent a studio apt, and those are not easy to find.
But the studios there are actually not too bad.
The only thing I did not really like was the location of my apt.
It was on the outside, facing Pantano, and the noise was VERY BAD.
My neighbors were kind of weird too.
When I first moved in, the asst.
manager assigned me to a parking spot, which turned out to be already assigned to someone else.
So, she assigned me to another spot, which also was already assigned.
Four nasty "get your f-----g car out of my spot" notes later, I finally had a spot of my own.
Of course, the parking there is really bad, so most of the time I would come home and someone would be parked in my spot.
The maintenance was pretty good-they always responded within a day or two of me calling.
They didn't always get the problem fixed the first time, but they did a pretty good job.
The other thing I didn't like was that the mailboxes were all in one central location in the back of the complex.
So, since I lived at the front, I had to drive to the back every day to pick up my mail.
I never could figure out why they didn't just have two mail stations.
I pretty much kept to myself because I was a single female and the people who live there are all a little ghetto.
Overall, I wouldn't recommend it for long-term living, but if you need a place for a short time, you might be able to handle these apartments.
