I lived at Camden Pass while it was still Eastridge. It was my first apartment, didnt know what to expect. Although I was excited to make home in my cramped overpriced apartment. Now that I have lived other places than Camden Pass it amazes me what they pass off as decent living.
Several times a week there would be poliece meeting in the courtyards and chitchatting before they each went off to different apartments for calls. Someone else said screening people is an issue, I would agree.
For a month, everyday there was a sporty car with a bullet hole in the dash parked in the fire zones in front of an entry gate. No one ever had it towed, no one every asked him to move it, or even put a note on the car. But you can bet that the one time it was pooring rain, I was sick, and there was no parking except three buildings away I parked in covered parking, I was towed. 30 min I was in this spot that was usually empty. Not to mention that when I lived there they had towing contracts with a towing company that was being watched by the police. They tried to charge me $300 to get my car out, until the police called them and told them that I didnt have to pay, because it was unlawfully towed away.
Any complex who willigly does business with a company which is going to cheat their tennants out of hard earned money is not worth my time. I honestly could go on for hours with all of my problems there. Like 4 of the apartments in my building flooding entirely within 3 months, then my own water heater spraying boiling hot water all over my closet ruining my things and burning me in the middle of the night, and not being able to find staff to fix it. Not to mention that they refused to give me compensation on my rent for what I had to deal with after the fact because, "I didnt report it when it happened." But I did report it the next day, when someone was in the office. Okay, I will stop now.
One last thing, if you care at all about the quality of your living enviornment, DON'T MOVE HERE!
