I have lived in this apartment complex for just under a year and am counting the days until my lease is up. The management tried to kick me out for having a cat, but apparently its ok for them to let 6 people live in a two bedroom apartment next door to me... I bought a small lawn chair and table for my patio, and they almost bit my head off! When my generic refrigerator finally broke, I called them and asked them to replace it. They gave me a hard time about wanting another one, and then actually accused me of breaking it on PURPOSE!!! When I moved in, they told me that they would gain access into my apartment in "emergencies only", which was clearly a lie because I've caught them TWICE trying to get into my apartment without my permission. The pool has been locked up more times than I recall being even open. They never post any notification or a reason "why" the pool is locked. When I asked management, they would get all nasty and rude to me. So needless to say, if you don't like little screaming kids, drug dealers, and the landlords roaming your apartment like its a free-for-all, please, dont let the first impression of this place drag you in like it did to me!! The $935 rent alone is a rip off to say the least.

I have to disagree with this comment. I myself have a pet at Casa De Colinas. Unless you had an unauthorized pet living in your apartment witch sounds a little strange they would try and kick you out because of a little ol' cat? I've seen lawn chairs and table's here at the property and highly doubt they would bite your head off because you had one. As for your refrigerator, how could you possibly break it on purpose? I think you just like to complain. As for the pools, since I haved lived here, my childeren constantly use the pools during the summer time and everytime I pass by the pools there are always childeren and families swimming. If you give the maintenance permission to enter when you put in a work order they are able to enter if your not home. Why would they enter your apartment for no reason? I'm sure you don't have anything valuable. How can $935 be a rip off for a Four Bedroom two bathroom including wahser and dryer. Also they pay all utilities except electricity. Obviously someone was just having a bad day to write something like this.

You are very right about the staff entering your home with out permission!!!!! We have had that happend to us several times!!!! I dont care if its $935 a month its a joke!!! from the houses to the maintance he/she to the office idiots its gotta be the worst apartments on the westside of town.But if your interested in living in a apartment that houses drug dealers/security that seems to on drugs /flooded walk ways/ ant infested houses/second hand appliances- well casa de colinas is for you!!! And a/c units work as much the office staff( which ain't much)!!!!!
