I grew up in an area of town in Phoenix that was not the best, newest...or safest. But I never felt more unsafe and felt to have been living in lesser conditions than those I was subject to at Casa Espana. I ONLY chose to live at this complex because i moved to Tucson and needed to find a place to live OVERNIGHT the weekend before school started in August. I would have never chosen this place myself. First of all, I apprecaite that the bedrooms were large as well as the living space, but it ends there. I lived with a good friend, but then they threw in another girl unknown to either of us, who later happened to steal money from the both of us and invite strange men over at all times of the night. Most of the time I lived there only one burner on the stove worked, I was forced to pay an extra 35 dollars a month for a washer/dryer..which happened to be a two in one piece of crap that only washed three articles of clothing, took over ten hours, and shrunk everything. The shower head had great water pressure but the tub didnt drain as fast as the shower spit out water, so you could take a seven minute shower MAXIMUM before there was water spilling over the side through the small bathroom and into the hallway. The last straw that broke the camels back for me and cause me to break my lease and move out early was when my roommate stole stuff out of my bedroom. Luckily, someone quickly moved into my apartment, but the problems didnt not end there, the girl that moved into my apartment was sitting by the window when she looked up to see a man staring at her, no more than two feet outside of the window. MASTERBATING. The next night, someone broke the door down with all three girls inside and stole a computer and wallet. After all of the drama that has happened at this complex I WOULD NEVER EVER(!!!!) recommend this place to anyone, it is an awful place to live.
