I am a property manager who cares about her property and her residents. I just started managing a property in the area and wanted to see my competators out there. I arrived at Casa Del Norte, walked in and asked for prices and to view an apartment. She said very rudely that she could not show me an apartment until I filled out an application. I then said to her, how would I give out personal information without viewing an aparmtnet. I have been in the business for over 10 yrs. and have not heard of a policy like that. I asked for her name and the management company. She then says to me " I AM THE MANAGEMENT". "AS FOR MY NAME, IT'S ON THE APPLICATION" while she was printing out. Once the application was printed out, she says "YOU ARE ASKING TO MANY QUESTIONS AND I AM NOT GIVING YOU AN APPLICATION" and tore the application in my face. She refused to show me an apartment and give me an application. I then said to her, she was discriminating against me and that I would contact the Fair Housing Association Immediately. I dont understand how residents can continue to live there with an uncareful manager. She is extremely rude and unprofessional. To the owners. If you are reading this. I dont understand how you have an employee (relative) like this managing your multi-million dollar investment. I am not a resident and would never be after this experience.

i used to be a resident at casa del norte, and when i moved in in 2003 it was a beautiful heartfilled place run by -------- ------ as the mngr.it was like an oasis in the desert..-------- used to have parties for the children for every holiday and never forgot us the elderly... she inlcuded everyone in everything..... our pool was always beautiful, the landscaping immaculate, just a wonderful place to live... then, this family came from san diego, bought the place, and it turned to HELL!!!!!!!!!!!! we went through so many ----------------------------------------- that my head was spinning.. when -------- ------ managed the property, we could have wind chimes, plants on our patios just the most comforting things, THEN this family with all the different ------------------, changed the rules with the wind, if there was a breeze something changed... no plants no windchimes, no visitors without a special pass, lose a pass 25 bucks to have a visitor it got insane.the pool was opened for a total of 3 days in the entire year of 08 they stripped us of our possessions and dignity by the grace of God i got out of there and when i go back to see old freinds i see the lost looks and the forlorn in thier faces because thay are stuck there.... if you want to live somewhere with meth heads and the dregs of society casa del norte is your place .....God bless -------- -------,she is now managing the apts. La Mirada if you want a fair chance and a chance to be treated with humane kindess, this is your woman.... i am saddened for the people at Casa del norte.. they now live in filth instead of heaven.... God bless you --------, you took me from a shelter and gave me a home.. and now these people have made that HELL.... SHAME ON THEM the kharma sherriff is watching!!!!!!!!!!!!

i alsolived there and when -------- and ------ were taking care of the plce it was HEAVEN ON EARTH we were secure and safe all the lights worked, no tagging on the walls, now and i hate to say this it looks like Nogales where these new animal owners are from, they say San Diego, but their kind of class is deffinitely ------........it's filthy they do nothing and i mean NOTHING to an apt. when someone moves out.... you move into filth, absolute FILTH.. they don't have a clue as to what they r doing and someone needs to check those certificates in the window NO ONE ON PROPERTY IS CERTIFIED FOR ANYTHING!!!!!!!!!
