Colonia del Rio

We just moved in here at the beginning of Novemeber. After only three weeks of living here, our car was stolen right out of the parking lot. We talked to the office staff and they said they only have courtesy patrol that comes around once a day or if someone calls for them. A week later our neighbor reported to the police that someone attempted to break into her apartment three time within a few days. Unfortunatly, the office staff doesn't care enough about the crime here to increase security. The complex looks really nice, but there's worse crime here than less nice complexes. The apartments are nice, and we like ours. But it's definatly not worth it because of the lack of security here. I'm now realizing how glad I am that we only got a 6 month lease. Honestly, I would not recommed this place at all until they get a much better security system.
