I am currently a resident of one year. I am leaving not due to the excellent staff or anything but due to work travel. The grounds are kept up; except when some residents litter. They have a very organized system for handling issues, repairs, and are flexible when you need to rely on them.
The parking is okay. Due to the younger demographic, they usually have more guests over and guests sometimes consume reserved parking; however not to the point of becoming a problem. I never had any issues where theives attempted to gain unauthorized access to my car. Never had any issues either with Laundry and its theft.
The location is 1 mile from Campbell, and is easily accessible for students of the UA to bike to their classes and such, near the bus line also.
TPD Crime stats due validate that there is some issues with noise/public disturbance. For all of 2005, 28 calls for noise for the block. To Cottonwood Creek's credit, its not all here, and is varied, especially with College students. Nothing too outrageous here.
Also, the construction of the anpartments is unique to any other apartmens I've looked at. They started as condos with a thick brick wall dividing neighbors. This wall is excellent at restricting sound and Bass. Very large living room, and a little patio.
So, my review is in GOOD favor of Cottonwood Creek. Great for any student, person looking to find a decent place in Midtown Tucson, minutes from the UA.
