$600-700 for a 1 bedroom apartment with Concentration Camp atmosphere

I'm absolutely fed up with this apartment complex. I've lived in quite a few but this place is going to haunt me for the next 2 years.

Where to start'

I'll start with the worst.

Inspections.

I've lived in 4 different apartments. I'd say average inspections per apartment per year were about 1 per year.

At Crescent Ridge we are somewhere up to 9 or 10. I lost count in august when I had more maintenance workers inspecting my "fire extinguisher", "Smoke alarms", "General inspections", "Pipe inspections", "Porch inspections" and "S'n'M apparatus inspections" than tenants living in the apartment.

Ok, I lied about the S'n'M apparatus one but I forgot the third one that was in October while I was looking up fascism in the dictionary.

Parking is a total nightmare. You have one designated spot for your household. You can not rent more than one and there is basically no undesignated parking between 5pm-6am. If you come home at 8pm you may as well park at the safeway parking lot and walk the quartermile to your apartment complex.

Construction. There used to be a comfortable space of land around the apartment complex that many of us wished would be made into more parking space. Well, recently they got approval (at the expense of an additional 5 to 6 inspections per household in under 2 months) to add 6 more "modules" of apartments and this construction looks to be finished in about a year or so by their slow pace. This will add to the already huge parking issue.

Mind you, I do live closest to the construction but those on the other end can hear the diesel driven excavators (holy moly, how long does it take these guys to pour foundations for square buildings' South eastern contractors would be half-way done by now and would have time to spare to build fault filled levy's around it)

Staff is nice, but simply listen and smile like stepford wives.

You can't get cable or any other services besides Qwest phone service and Directv. I've spent 20 hours and 30 calls with them trying to fix my billing issues. When you go to the Qwest rep for the apartment complex they set you up with a "bundle" then 6 months later unbundle you, losing your bundled rates. You complain and tell them to "re-bundle" you and they do, but they screw up the billing and then Directv tells you that you own $200 that you already paid to Qwest.

I can't threaten legal action against directv without losing my wonderful privilege to talking to their customer service department so I can only threaten to break my lease in this concentration camp.

If you don't mind hearing some man hating women whose husband just recently cheating on her scream "F(@* YOU !" OVER AND OVER, night after night, you'll be fine. If you don't mind being woken up on your day off by machinery, THIS IS THE PLACE FOR YOU. If you conform to public policy without question and get off on it. I will recommend this place to you.

Otherwise, there are many nicer places in the north tucson area to live.

We've decided to pay our last month and move out early.
