I have lived in this apartment for 2 years and cannot wait to leave. During the day the complex looks nice, but at night is another story. During our first year here we had someone break into our apartment. Management wouldn't do anything. We know two other people who live in separate units of the complex- both people have encountered incidents that have caused them to move out. One friend had someone break into her apt and attack her while she was sleeping. We were pursuaded to stay for another year because management promised a gate would be installed. Unfortunately, this was not installed until over a year later. There have also been many incidents in which people's laundry were stolen. The walls are thin as paper. My roommates bed shakes at night because our neighbors music is so loud (yet management does nothing). Weird people walk around at night and there are constantly police cars at the complex. We DO NOT feel safe here. The only thing that brought us to this place is the fact that they give you discounted rent for summer storage, there's a UofA shuttle, and the rent is fairly cheap. However, this does not compare to all the bad things the complex has. Take my word for it, if your safety is an issue, do not consider moving here! It's NOT worth it!
