I lived at Deerfield until March of this year. The two bedroom apartment we rented was clean and well maintained. The entire complex was kept attractive. I especially liked the white lights they put on the very tall palm trees at the entrance of the complex. The best part of Deerfield however, was the management. I have lived in very nice apartment complexes and I have never had such an excellent apartment manager. Greg was prompt and always exceedingly curteous. When I complained about a noisy neighbor he actually followed up later to make sure the problem was not recurring. He even carried my groceries to my apartment one day when I had just had surgery and was having a hard time carrying them. Talk about going above and beyond the call of duty!

I checked with the police department when I read some of the disturbing reviews here. The police department has no record of the alleged break-ins in a couple of reviews here. Perhaps a few reviews were influenced by melodrama or other agenda' I don't know.

I moved because I prefer living on the Northeast side, however I would recommend Deerfield for someone on a budget or looking to live in central Tucson.
