Awful

This was the worst living situation I was ever in. I first moved into the property because the Northstar management impressed me--they were friendly, helpful, and did their best to resolve a problem.
When Scotia took over, I was immediately turned off by the old woman who ran the office herself until the new staff came in. She was rude and condescending.
The new management was equally rude. One time I had to wait 25-minutes to get a package while the community manager had a personal conversation. There came a point whrn I would not even work with the other staff because they never did anything.
I lived on the ground floor, and it seemed that the wood dividing the apartments was thin and made it so that I could hear anything the other apartments were doing. TV, sex, kids crying, walking, water running, I could hear it all. Lighting was pathetic.
The grounds were well-kept, but the gate was a joke. I had a long-distance number and no land line, so I was never on the gate box. Having guests was a nightmare.
Parking was extremely limited, and the dumpsters were too close to the apartments--I would often smell unpleasant things.
On that same note, the management failed to do anything about things being left on the porches--trash, brooms, plants, kid's toys were frequently left outside and were often a hazard.
I would not recommend this property to anyone under the new management.
