I lived at Deerfield for about two years. After living in three apartments, this was definitely the best.

The maintainence was AWESOME!! i could not ask for anything better. There is only two guys, but if you tell them something is wrong they will seriously fix it right away. I painted my apartment red and when it came time to move out, I had to repaint it. Instead of doing it by myself, the maintainence man offered to help, no charge. I wish I could live somewhere where those guys would always fix my stuff.

The office staff is ok. Old management was better, but they are pretty much par.

As for the grounds......very pretty. They have a lawn company come every week. The trees are trimmed, grass is cut, never any litter. Even though they came at like 6am and always woke me up, the grounds always looked amazing. They also have a great pool. I swam atleast twice a week, every week, and it was always clean.

The only thing I will complain about is the noise. The walls are seriously soooooo thin! I could hear the neighbors having sex, fighting, loud music. But the fighting was the worst! It sounded like my neighbor would beat his wife. She would scream uncontrollably at like 4am, which forced me to move to the couch. One day I complained to the office, they talked to the residents, and the noise significantly lowered. Also, my car was broken into, which kind of sucked, but nothing was broken/stolen.

If you want to live in a nice place with AWESOME maintainence and grounds.....live here!!! If a quiet enviornment is what you want.....look somewhere else.
