The apartments are a good size for a fair price. There are good and bad neighbors just as any place but it is run pretty poorly. The management, overall, is pretty rude and act as if they'd prefer not be bothered with any problems. When we first moved in, neither the freezer nor dishwasher worked. It was a month before the freezer was fixed but the dishwasher was fixed pretty quick. We had a mold problem. It was growing all over in the toilet and partly in the shower and on the window seel. When we notified the front office, they accused us of trying to break our lease because they knew we were going to be moving out. They did clean up part of it but it grew back. At night it gets a little noisy. We've since moved. At our new place there is great management which makes all the difference. Our experience was its not a terrible place to live but if you can afford better then I'd recommend going somewhere else.

I disagree, Ive rented at Desert Springs for two years and love living here. The office staff is great and do their best for each and every residents needs. Pam (manager) gets things done on property and doesnt get the appreciation she deserves. Some residents just dont understand what a manager goes through having to hear residents complaining every day like they dont have nothing else to do, so selfish! They should feel appreciative that they have a manager who listens and who cares. I love the management and my apartment. Thanks, Happy Resident

I still say that place is a hole. Gate or no gate I never felt safe. The office staff is rude. We thanked them every time they helped us, I don't know what type of appreciation you're looking for. Selfish ...? that's their job. If they have so many complaints that they can't handle them all then maybe that's a sign that there are a lot of problems with that complex. Again I've since moved and it's like night and day the difference.
