The complex is gated. The staff is attentive and responsive. The area is clean and maintained. The facilities are kept well and there are many perks. Best bang for the buck. While other areas look minimalized and open-access, I believe this is the most secure and safest feeling complex in the area. Highly recommended

The minimal and pointed text of this review smacks of it being from property management. That being said, I used to live here in the early 90s so I knew it well then and I know this property is now HSL owned and having some experience with them at their properties and through a few different properties managers. I can support that they have been known to take distressed locations and turn them around. I'd be willing to give the property a viewing if you are hunting and suggest a night-time and/or weekend visit as well. It would certainly be a good idea to ask to meet a current long term tenant. I currently live in an HSL property that was turned around and the team here is attentive to issues regarding overall tenant comfort. If you have problems paying your rent on time though I'd suggest you look elsewhere. Many of the reviews that I've seen on this forum edge toward an agenda by a renter who has not been timely with their rent or expect special treatment within a few months. Let's face facts, these are apartments and management is not likely to alter it's business practices and preferences for a renter who won't back up his or her borderline grievance with a good payment history at the property.

Point of fact, I am a tenant. I have been so for 6 months. I do concur with your assessment on the jaded reviews from clients who make their own problems. I am not a regular renter, as I own a home elsewhere. I am only here on temporary work. However, I have found that this complex is run well and is the best value out there.

Funny, I also thought this sounded contrived, as if from management. I lived there in 2001 and hated it. Didn't feel safe at all.
