I lived there for 6 months while waiting for a guesthouse to be built. Well, now I'm sick of my guesthouse (it's too small) and I've been thinking of going back to Edgewood. I felt safe there, it was clean, and comfortable and new. I rarely heard neighbors and when I did it wasn't disruptive. I loved that everything was so clean inside. I just have a few complaints. Some occupants broke the rules by having bikes and grills and big huge swings out on their balcony- it clearly states in the lease that these things aren't allowed but they were never asked in 6 months to get rid of that stuff. I also thought there was a lot of silverfish in the apartment- I could see them crawling around in the kitchen light fixtures. It wasn't infested, but it was kind of gross to see them there. Last complaint would be- we had a two bath so there was a big shower in one of them with no tub. That drain would get pretty nasty and a smell came from it from soap products and hair being trapped right below the drain. Couldn't figure out why it would do that, but didn't complain because the lease was nearly up when noticed. Finally- the water pressure and temperature in this shower was horrible. I had to take cold showers under very sparse water. The other shower was fine, though. With the other places I've lived in though- this was by far the best with the least problems. Had I lived there longer, I think I would have addressed those issues and they would have been resolved. The staff was very nice and personable.
