I lived here for two years and I can honestly say that this is horrible. Don't be fooled by the chivalry they present to you on your visits. Even when you first move in the management seem like they care. BUT they don't!! My air conditioning broke, and it took them two weeks to fix it, yes during summer! My cat was KILLED because someone's dog was running around loose on the grounds. I can't stress enough how horrible this place is. The management is as bad as they come. The rent increase is insane!! All I can say is that this place is aesthetically nice on the outside, but is truly a hellhole

Why is your cat running around the community anyways? Most owners would keep their cats in their apartment. .. Guess you really didn't care that much about your cat. I am a strong believer in this place. The management inforces the rules fairly for everyone and thats probably why you got mad. I know how you feel about not allowing any slack, it sucks when you are a couple days late on your rent and they can't budge but thats not the managements fault its the owners. I don't really see how this place is a hell whole. When I moved in my apartment seemed practically new. I have had one thing wrong with my apartment and it was fixed the next day. Somethings are out of maintenance hands. Give them a break. Management team is very sweet and caring. Your probably just an ungrateful rude person that expects something for nothing.

I am a property manager and I sympathize with apartments that get bashed by unhappy tenants. My experience in life is that when things don't go exactly the way people want them, they find a scapegoat to blame it on. I know for a fact that Edgewood management would never let anyone go TWO WEEKS without a/c. Edgewood is a nice community and I know that this website is for bashing and nothing else. When someone is unhappy about paying a late fee or getting a letter about their trash outside their apt or how about the wonderful cigerette butts people leave for the poor maintenance guys to pick up. The people that bash the apartments are people that have done something that was not within the lease agreements guidelines and now that their gone they have nothing better to do then bash the management. Management does not own the place, maintenance does the best they can. A/C's do not go down for 2 weeks. I think who ever wrote this is not telling the WHOLE truth just a version of the truth.

funny thing is that I faithfully paid my rent on time to keep my record clean. And if this is such a bashing website, why do you come on here and contradict everything bad said. You obviously owe some sort of loyalty to this site. I find it funny how you think that if anything is posted on a bad note you blame it on the writer, and never yourselves. You're not a perfect community, so please cut us all a break, and stop pretending.

As consumers, we have a right to expect service and quality when we spend money. As far as apartment complexes go, I have to say for the money spent this is a mediocre apartment with a price tag that doesn't match. Maybe I just expect more for my dollar then others. There may be a lot of people who leave messages to vent; but if the messages have similarities, it???s hard to blame the unsatisfied customer.
