I have lived at Edgewood for several months now and I am disgusted with this place now. I moved in last fall. The people in the office were very pleasant, the apartment was nice, and the area seemed safe. In just a matter of about 7 months, the management has changed a few times. This is such a shame. The leasing agent and assistant manager were so nice and helped me out, but the new assistant manager and manager are very rude. The last time I went into the office, they were sitting in the manager's office. It took them a while before they even acknowledged me even though they were looking right at me. The apartment is still nice, but the grounds aren't kept as nice any more. And it seems that the pools are always filthy too. I thought that the area was safe until my car was broken into. And I guess that mine wasn't the only one. In the months that I have lived there, there have been multiple cars broken into and it seems that the polioe are there a lot (but I am not sure what for). Also, the gates have been inoperable several times during my stay here. For a while, all of the gates stayed open. So much for this being a gated community. I just advise that anyone looking to rent here do their research before signing anything. I know I cannot wait for my lease to end so that I can move on.
