I only moved in in January and I have wanted to move out since the day I moved in. I actually went back and requested to break my lease since I hadn't even moved my stuff in yet and was told no. I made a mistake by moving in here and will suffer with that mistake for a few more months. The office, which is being rebuilt after a fire, isn't big enough to accomodate signing for packages, so they just don't sign for them and you have to have all your packages delivered to you at work. I live in the basement apartment in one of the back buildings and it is fairly quiet, which is nice. Parking in the back is also fairly easy but that may be because two of the buildings in this back part of the complex are also vacant due to being burned down around the same time as the office. I have a dog and clean up after him regularly, but I think I'm the only dog-owner who does so. When I moved in I was told there was a heated pool and spa (not open, damage from burned down office), I was shown a nice model apartment, which mine looks nothing like. Also, there is absolutely no closet space in these apartments. The master bedroom is a decent size, but the only other closets are a tiny coat-sized closet in the second bedroom and a small linen closet in the hall. Cabinets and fixtures are very old and the cabinets are even splintered. I have new carpeting so that's good but I'm sure I'll pay for it when I move out. What's even more funny is that my washer and dryer didn't work when I moved in and the staff (who by the way are the most incompetent, rudest group of individuals you will ever come across) actually asked me if I was overloading the washing machine. Hmmm, well, I've been doing laundry for 20 years, what do you think'' Point of the story...really think about it if you think it looks good. Looks can be deceiving.
