Girls PLEASE read!!! Parents too!

After reading nearly every review posted, I want to be sure and add the most important reason I feel girls need to be careful if considering Entrada as a place of residence. Every single complaint previously listed all happened to me as well, but then it got even worse. Maintenance (two middle-aged creepy men) began entering our apartment unanounced, and without knocking. One day, I was simply just getting out of the shower, and since I lived with two other girls that were my friends, I didn't feel the need to be worried about walking into the living room in a towel as I started a load of laundry. To my surprise, the two men were standing in my kitchen! Neither of my roommates were home, so they obviously entered on their own. As they just stared at me for about a full minute, I screamed at them to get out, but they didn't move an inch. They said they were there to "get a mattress from the vacant room" but we never received a notice, or a call about the chance of them stopping by (which is completely illegal and unethical!) You see, we were in a four bedroom apartment, but only three rooms were rented. Therefore, they felt the need to deadbolt the extra bedroom and use it as a storage unit for new and old mattresses, box springs, desks and anything else that would fit. I felt like I was living in a public storage utility!

Hoping this would be the only time it happened, I politely asked the manager to tell her staff they shouldn't feel free to walk into an all girls apartment and make me feel my safety was in jeapordy. Not to mention feeling completely disgusted that I was being stared at in a sexual manner by these men! She rudely replied "these are my apartments and if I want maintenance in there to get something, they can whenever I want. They don't need to knock unless they enter your personal room. The living room belongs to me".

After revealing my frustrations and fear for my personal safety with my family, they made a few calls, and before I knew it, the Dean of University of Arizona was calling and threatening the manager's job. He understood our concern, but unfortunately she (the manager) still didn't change a thing. Seeing as how this place seems to be getting worse each year, I wouldn't be surprised to see a law suit soon. I just hope no one gets hurt, so girls, if you do decide to live here, please keep your bedroom door locked as often as you can. The neighbors are not your main concern in this place when the real threat is walking in your front door with a key in hand.
