We have lived here 6 months and moved here from out of state. We find this to be a great experience so far. Requests for maintenance recieve prompt attention. The grounds are very attractive. There are plants and flowers and mature trees. I like the way the entrances of the buildings face each other...this helps people to meet and makes for a more secure community. Some units have 2 balconies and we enjoy a cross breeze through our screen doors in cooler weather. There is a unique feature to some of the units which I call a "split bathroom". I really like this because it gives you more bathroom square footage and allows 2 people to be in the bathroom doing different things at the same time. As far as noise, this complex is quiet most of the time with the exception of weekend evenings...and this is normal anywhere you live in an apartment. I do not think the walls are any thinner than anywhere. There is a huge TV/DVD unit in the club house in a "Theatre room". There is a grocery, drugstore, hardware store and many other businesses accross the street. Residents and staff have been very friendly. My husband and I are over 50 and we have seen our share of apartments so we feel qualified to say that this is a place worth considering.
