My family and I have been here for about a year and a half. Harrison Park started out to be a nice place to live; like the brochure stated, "where the country meets the city." Management was top-notch, and although it meant driving a little farther to work each day, it was totally worth it to be living in a clean, crime-free, family oriented setting.

Since new management has taken over, the slogan should be changed to "where South-Central Tuscon meets the Hood." The combination of ineffective tennant screening and lack of accountability for property security has rendered this place yet another another urban crime zone. Packs of unruly teens roam the grounds at all hours of the afternoon and night, unchecked and unaccountable for loud and disruptive behavior (skateboarding, leaving belongings on resident cars while "hanging out," throwing their trash into resident patio areas, bringing 10-15 guests at a time into the pool area and driving paying residents away with rude and directly confrontational behavior.)

Management went ahead and changed the locks to the pools and even the main pedestrian property gate, all without notifying the tenants. Ironically, the local thugs have already figured out how to bypass the new locks entirely.

To sum up the problem, new management is apparently exercising a more relaxed approach to criminal background checks on incoming applicants as well as leaving the property gates wide-open nearly 24/7 for whatever element wishes to come in and pay them a visit (guns and drugs included). We are afraid for our family's safety, as right now while I am typing this criticism-- I'm looking at no less than 4 city police cruisers that have taken up positions at the curb right outside our apartment for some unknown issue.

The worst of the irony is in management's expensive and inconvenient repainting of the entire facility, when this was already done just 3 years ago. When painting the buildings and carports, we were given less than 12-hours notice to clear the areas to be painted or risk damaging overspray. Somebody should tell them, "you just can't polish a turd."

Well, I think that your broke ass needs to buy a house! be a man and provide for your family and quit complaining. I read these reviews and think that you are just plain ignorant. Ever heard of fair housing laws? You can't just refuse people an apartment because of the way they look or if they have teenagers, etc. Might as well say if your of a certain color we won't rent to you. I don't know what medication your taking...or need to be taking but get a clue!!!!!
