I've lived at Hilands for a year and have discovered that the management is unprofessional, the parking lots unsafe, the response time for complaints is slow, and the rent too high for such poor service. They refused to replace my crappy carpet that has been there since the previous tenant, they took 2 weeks to get a pack rat out of my storage closet. It took a week to spray for ants that invaded my kitchen and bedroom on a daily basis. My food and dishes had be removed from the cabinets and some food thrown away. To top it all off my car was vandalized and my stereo stolen. The thieves had enough time to break 2 windows steal my stereo and pry up my back seat.Two other cars were vandalized the same night as mine! Someone in my building plays music/video games till 3:00am on weekdays, and yells at the TV. I have complained about this and nothing has been done. Big rental corporations don not care about you! If you have to rent, rent from local property owners, and read the fine print!!!
