The Management here at the Hilands really sucks. As you might have seen other responses on this sight about the hilands lacking in a few area's is pretty true.
I just had a go around with the management about my rent yesterday. They accused me of not paying. I had stoped at the front where they have this precious drop box so you can leave your rent payment after hours. The drop box is right infront of one of the " lady's" desk. So you tell me, how can you loose a rent check, in an envelope with the appartment number right on the front' They even had the nerve to ask me if i had any proof that i droped it in there. The hilands lost my check, then threatened to evict me. One of the staff even got a lil tiffy with me. As it turned out, i had to give them a cashiers check and when i asked them to sign a paper so that i had proof they had FINALLY recieved payment, they declined. I had also told them i wasnt paying any late fee's for the mishandling of my payment for my over priced shoe box appartment, and they had added a fee of 37 dollars on top of my rent payment. Now, at the end of the day, after everything is done and over with, i am once again greeted with one more note on my door telling me i still owed 28 dollars for the water bill. Which i would have gladly payed if they had added it in the first time. So, in final, i would never recommend this place to anyone. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME, OR YOU SANITY WITH THIS PLACE...
