I'm getting ready to move out but not because I'm not happy, but because my job is transferring me out of state. I wanted to write this review of Hilands because I've noticed that so many people get irrate over things that are out of the apartment complex's control and that's what they post on these apartment review websites. I have lived at Hilands for 3 years now and I loved every year. Now, granted,I had my share of issues here, but again, not something I would blame maintenance for or the office staff. The flood I had here was an act of God and when I called the emergency line, maintenance was so quick to respond and the next morning, after discussing it with office staff, they gave me a credit on my rent. Yeah, I was ugly with the staff when my act of nature happened, but when I walked out of the office, I felt like the as*. The management was actually very understanding and listened to me as I whined. I would recommend Hilands to anyone who asked me. The maintenance staff is so pleasant and responsive and the office staff is very professional
