I have lived here for almost three months and have had a bug infestation since day 1! Not to mention the kitchen cabinets are falling apart, the upstairs neighbor sounds like they are jumping up and down when they walk, and old Termite and water damage throughout the apt. I also get to watch the people across from me do drugs right out in the open! The Manager did have the bug sprayer come out the next day after I called, even though the EMERGENCY MAINTENANCE never even returned my phone cal, but 6 sprays and two months later, they are worse than ever. They told me I need to empty out my cabinets and move everything from the wall edges every monday morning so he can spray. This is a huge inconvenience to me and my family. The Owner could care less. I have tried for a week to talk to her (KIM BRICE) and all I received after a week was a very uneducated email about the situation stating that it sounds like a small bug problem that is now a large problem because I was not there every monday morning to let the sprayer in. I SHOULD NOT HAVE HAD TO HAVE MY APT. SPRAYED IN THE FIRST PLACE! SHE IS SO OUT OF THE LOOP SHE TOLD ME TO GET RID OF THE BOXES AND THE BUGS WILL GO AWAY. I HAVE NOT HAD BOXES IN MY APARTMENT SINCE THE FIRST WEEK! IF SHE WOULD HAVE ACTUALLY CALLED ME I COULD HAVE TOLD HER THAT. SHE MAKES ME FEEL LIKE A SCUM BAG THAT DOES NOT EVEN DESERVE HER TIME OF DAY. I WOULD RECOMMEND PAYING A FEW MORE DOLLARS AND RENTING SOMEWHERE ELSE. I PICKED THIS APT BECAUSE IT WAS THE CHEAPER OF THE SIX IN THIS AREA, NOW I KNOW WHY.

WOW, I KNOW WHO YOU ARE. I LIVE BY YOU AND ALL YOU & YOUR WIFE DO IF YELL AND FIGHT. HOW CAN YOU COMPLAIN ABOUT ANYTHING WHEN YOU ARE PART OF YOUR OWN PROBLEM. I HAVE LIVED HERE OVER 7 YRS AND NO ONE HAS EVER HAD A "BUG" PROBLEM LIKE YOU ARE SAYING. YOU SHOULD MOVE, THE APARTMENTS WOULD BE BETTER OFF!

I lived at Kimberly Woods for 3 years and a bug infestation was one of the biggest reasons for my leaving (along with mold, drug use, and rude staff). These bugs weren't just your everyday cockroaches or other "little bugs"... they were HUGE, FLYING ROACHES! I would find them EATING THROUGH BOXES in my cupboards, climbing on the furniture and walls and a few disgusting times I even had them CRAWLING ON ME while I was asleep.. *shudders*! Spraying did no good and the office staff suggested pouring bleach down my drains and keeping them closed when not in use... that didn't work either. Maybe the reviewer lives in my old apartment... are you in 249J by chance? So... mgb99... it seems you don't know everything because I most certainly am someone and I did have a bug problem like this review describes. Also, maybe the miserable living conditions at Kimberly Woods are leading to "marital problems" (if the reviewer is even the person you think you know... given your track record of "knowing things")... I fought with my husband a lot while I lived there, but we hardly ever argue in our new place. My guess is that you are employed by Kimberly Woods... if not, you should be because your attitude is exactly like theirs.
