The apartment complex claims to be a "luxury" graduate housing environment. La Aldea is far from luxury. If you are lucky enough to get a $450 parking permit, you at best have to park in the garage and walk to your apartment. Not very homey or luxury. At worst, you park during the day on the upper floors of the garage, and walk down four flights of stairs, then depending on where you live in Aldea have to walk another couple of min to your apartment, up stairs with groceries, books or whatever to your door. If feels like a jail. Walls are thin, the interior paint is the kind of paint you would use on a ceiling...flat and rough. My water was usually cold.
It looks like there were two different landscapers...with different tastes...so the place is overall not well done, and like I said before far from luxury. If you want a place close to campus, there are tons of great homes with a ton of character, and less money than Aldea.
Worth the effort to look a little.
