Yet another bad review

One critique of the several other reviews already posted is that that front office guy, Dan, is nice. I could not possible disagree more. No one in that office shows anything that could be considered courtesy, and one often gets the impression that their sole function is to separate yourself from your money, which they do with alacrity, resorting to whatever means they feel like. They seem to prefer lying.
My feelings on the apartments themselves are somewhat ambiguous. Unlike some other tenants, I have never had a problem with my cable, or having anything stolen. However, there was a time when we had no running water (since the water heaters had yet to be installed), the gates are never locked and they don't have a buzzer, which is probably why the gates are never locked.
My balcony overlooks the "Bog of Everlasting Stench" as I like to call it, and it smells like death itself. However, even this is not the major problem; my problem is with their pumping the water out of it at three in the morning. Nothing has ever pissed me off more. In all fairness the land that the bog sits on is owned by the university and they were the ones pumping it out, but why bother with this if you don't have to'
Parking is also a major problem. It seems that most of the people who live here come from far away, since they don't know where to live and the brochure comes with your acceptance letter. However, if you come here in a car, you are screwed. Not only will a parking permit cost you four hundred dollars a year, there is no guarantee that you will receive one. Why pay for something that is free at every other apartment complex in the city'
La Aldea gets you to move in with visions of swimming pools and office centers and (for me at least) a drawing of the complex that looks nothing like the real thing. Beware, there is no pool (despite the fact that there were pool rules in my lease), there is no office center, there is only the Bog of Everlasting Stench and some undergraduates.
Frankly, as you look at the other reviews of this place, La Aldea is unmistakably the level of Hell that Dante missed. Do not live here. Discourage others who are contemplating it. Save yourself.

P.S. You may have read the three good reviews. They were writtem by the staff. I though that the comment about people who have nothing better to do was rather telling (also ironic). Stooping this low in order to get people to live here is a prime example of my earlier comment on their alacrity for removing yourself from your money. You now have evidence of the claims of the real reviews. I would take it into consideration.
