It seems as though everything has been covered by the other reviews. I would just like to add that Coronado is LOUD! La Aldea is graduate housing across from the freshman party dorm. More than once I have had to ask the drunken undergrads to be quiet at 3 am so I can get some sleep.

I have to park my car 3 blocks away...not very luxorious or convenient. It would be nice to have gates that lock, parking, washers/dryers that are reasonably priced (ie not $2 per load) and a staff that could at least be friendly when taking my $730 every month (I, too, think that Dan the front desk guy is nice but the rest have been rude). Also, the lasndscaping that has left us what I like to call the "La Aldea Tar Pit" is rather unpleasant and stinks like a rotting bog. Also, we don't get mail on Saturdays because the office is closed and they distribute the mail. Also watch for the NON-REFUNDABLE $300 deposit!!! A total rip-off!

The plus is that you are on campus but you can find much better places for about half the price. I am living in a house next year 2 blocks from campus for much less than this place and it's much nicer and quieter.

The convenience and ease that is enticing at La Aldea proves to be neither convenient nor easy. Do yourself a favor and take the time to find somewhere else to live -- I wish I did.
