To begin with, the ratings should be made by actual people living in the apartments, not the staff. I've heard the exact words from the Management office over and over again.

Here are some facts for you who are thinking about moving in here. This was suppossed to be graduate housing, which no longer is. Why' Out of 313 spaces there are only 60 that have been rented for the following Fall. 58 of those are renewals. Last Fall there were over 110 places filled up. What does this leave us with' Simple math, about half the people living here moved or are moving about. Only 2 new grad students are moving in. Surprising' Only if you have never been or lived here.
Things are not what they look from the outside. If you walk by you'll find that La Aldea looks pretty nice, I won't say it doesn't.
But just as with people, what's inside is what it counts and this place is definetely not worth the money they ask for.
This place is officially open for Juniors and Seniors, so if you are grad student I would think it twice before moving in. If you are an undergrad... aren't there better things to do with your money than pay an expensive rent' Get a place with thick walls where you can party and save money for entertainment! Walking a couple of blocks to class doesn't hurt anybody!
