9/25/07: I HATE this place. Out in my front yard right now is a huge pile of dangerous rubble with rebar sticking out of it, a swamp for a front yard, CONSTANT construction going on, the management invading your house whenever they feel like it, hassling you non-stop about everything, security takes your name if you walk outside of your apartment at night, or do your laundry, Jennie is a total __tch, a ceiling fan below the legal limit hit me in the head and practically knocked me out. I had to go to the hospital bleeding profusely, and $1,500 later the management told me to go suck bricks when I submitted a claim, you pay for a cat, but then they harass you when it wants to go outside. I'm telling you, THIS PLACE IS THE WORST EVER. MANAGEMENT ARE NAZIS! COMMUNISTS! Get into the hive mentality! The ambulances go up and down the street all night long, people's cars are continuously broken into, no hot water in the laundry room, etcetera, etcetera.

10/25/07 UPDATE: MAJOR SCREWING FROM LA HACIENDA: We bought a house and gave notice, but asked to extend the rental one more month due to construction at new house, and Jennie gave permission. THEN they put NOTICE OF INSPECTION on our door that they would be entering from the hours of 9-5 on 10/24, no reason given. We wrote back and said they had to make an appointment because we paid extra for cats, and confirm 7:30 a.m. before we left for work. We didn't hear back from them about appointment. On 10/24 we happened to return home during the hours they were doing inspection, and discovered they had been instructed to enter anyway, despite our written notice to them, and notice posted on door not to enter without appointment. We obtained copy of their instruction to non-uniformed "inspectors" and one of them claimed we obtained their instructions to enter by force. We never touched her. Now La Hacienda says they have rented our apartment for next month, and we cannot stay, and gave us notice AGAIN of not putting our cat on a leash (this Russian blue won't let you touch her without tearing you to bits -- extensive trapping required to put her in box for moving purposes, other Russian blue stolen 1-1/2 months ago) and using excessive force to make copy of notice violating our rights. Jennie TOTALLY LIED YET AGAIN -- she's a pathological liar! -- that she told us we had to send something in writing when we requested extra month. When husband told manager that he was going to sue them, manager replied that it was too bad she hadn't called the police, which is PROOF of her retaliatory attitude in general. THESE PEOPLE ARE SCUM, SCUM, SCUM. DO NOT RENT HERE EVER!

Do not believe anyone who says this place is OK. They are obviously management under disguise. This place is universally hated by everyone here.
