The staff are basically nazis.
on one occasion they tried entering my apartment without the legally required 48 hour written notice.
They threatened to evict my wife because her name wasn't on the lease (I lived here for 2 years single and have been married for the last year) Never have I made anything except early payments for rent..
And they still bold face threaten to evict because my wife's name wasnt on the lease.
Very rude.
The lease agreement has a section you have to sign stating that La Hacienda is not responsible for your personal protection and safety from burglary and assault....
which is why every time I step outside of my door I keep my loaded 9mm handgun on my waist (Completely legal in Az) My neighbor has had is truck broken into 3 times in 3 months my cars have been broken into 2 times.
Since ive been here ive been woken up by the police helicopter beaming down its spotlight 2 times (one time) was for my downstairs neighbor getting stabbed by deranged boyfriend.
The list goes on and on folks..
Dont bother coming here unless you have a gun and know how to use it.

Welcome to the ghetto. I completely agree with everything you've said. Years ago this was a decent place to live but not anymore. I'm out of here as well.

ok, I think that you are over reacting just a little bit. I too live at La Hacienda and when I first started living here I was a 23 single female living by myself and felt completely safe. Never once did I walk outside my door and ask myself why I didnt have a gun. There are four other complexes in this area and I am sure the ghetto bird was not flyin around just for La Hacienda. And when you signed your lease there was a section about unauthorized occupants....or did you just forget about that part? I am pretty sure that it said something along the lines of.... if there is going to be someone else over the age of 18 living in the apartment you have to inform the office or you could get evicted. They do a criminal background check on EVERYONE that lives one the complex...why should your wife be and exception?
