I moved here last spring, and just renewed my lease. So far I've been happy with everything about this place. My rent stayed the same this year, which is great.
Maintenance is always helpful, even though I have a weird schedule which calls me away from home at almost any time. They just recently installed an updated faucet in my bathroom which really makes it look a lot nicer. The girls at the office are always friendly and helpful.
My neighbors are pretty quiet... At least I think they are. The buildings are well-built, so I can't even hear them.
The landscaping is really nice. Although they had to do the wintertime butchering recently. I do appreciate the low-water plants they have here. In spring it's really pretty and green, though.
Security is the only thing I have an issue with. On occasion I will see kids running throughout the gated area, like they're evading something. My car was broken into last year, so I wish they'd put better lighting out front. There's not enough parking in the gated area near the front of the apartments, so I park outside of it as close to the lights as possible, as not to have my car situated far away.
Other than that, I'm completely satisfied with La Jolla.
