Yes, the new owners have decided to make some changes to the landscaping, but frankly, covering bare dirt with decorative rock is not such a bad idea! They have not demolished the little green "parks" that are scattered around, and as far as loosing the gorgeous trees, the micro-burst we had in July did that.
It is not just a corporate policy that carpet be changed every 7 years, its actually pretty standard practice in the industry. I am a resident, and I don't work for this company, but I've been in property management in Tucson for about 13 years. I can tell you that they are not doing a bad job, and the new paint and gorgeous new pool furniture are really nice touches! I will be moving when my lease is up, but not because of anything they're doing. This has been a nice home for my daughter and myself, and while our apartment is quite outdated, I have been getting a great deal on it. They are raising rents here, but they are also doing the upgrading work to justify it. Good luck to them, I'm sure it will be just beautiful. (And the low-end rif-raf is leaving, too, I see!)

Yeah, it was me. A professional property manager who KNOWS the difference between real crap and a good deal. No, I DON'T work for what ever company manages that place. Perhaps you should shop around and find out the truth for yourself. Remember, as long as your RENTING, the property does NOT belong to you.
