Too much Crime/Violence and Useless Office Staff

Years at this apartment: 2003 - 2003
Our first day moving in some things didn't work, but they gave us a cheap gift basket. They rarely clean anything and there are so many kids running around on bikes that will run you over, it irks me. Especially when they are running around screaming and such at 9 in the morning. Not only that my neighbors behind me were having parties almost every weekend and they were LOUD with lots of people. Not fun living behind them. D:
When management changed, I immediately noticed. These people DO NOT want to help you fix ANYTHING. My deciding factor on why I moved out was because one night I was woken up by several gun shots a few feet from my house. Some guy was gunned down and KILLED (in 2003) over something drug related and there were cops everywhere. NOT A SAFE PLACE TO LIVE. There is apparently gang problems there and would never consider living there now. Its a running joke that Lakeside is near Death-Lake and that complex has a very high crime problem even with the gates installed.
People park in your carports and beware living on the west-side of the complex. There was several (and I mean SEVERAL) reports of cars being broken down. The gates are pretty much useless because people will follow you in and not use their card or a code. And basically all security does is make sure you have a card-key. Nothing else.
I definitely DO NOT recommend Lakeside Village AT ALL.
