I see all these negative reviews about the new managment and staff in comparison to the employees before. The last management may have been nice, but they never got anything done! This place was not being run to its potential before new management took over. If you look around there are constant improvements being made, maintnence crew is excellent, they are the nicest bunch of guys who wave to you as they go by and are pleasant to allow into your home to fix something. New management is great. Things are getting done, they set high standards and some restrictions, all of this to make this a more pleasurable residence. I think this place is great,and of all the apartments I've lived at this is the one where I have truely felt at home, safe and comfortable

I'm not sure how the last management was "nice." Nicolosi and Fitch, the previous management company, did not quite supply the complex with "nice" managers. The newer managers from MEB have been far nicer, but that doesn't mean that the complex itself has proven to be a great place to live. I am not sure how much of it was the newer owners, and how much of it was the management; however, some experiences at the end reinforced my perceptions that apartment management can sometimes be a pretty shady profession. As far as "high standards and some restrictions" goes, during my last few months there, I had to put up with loud, booming music in the parking lot (which, strangely, had not previously been much of a problem) and cars speeding around the corners of the parking lot, the drivers of which seemed like they couldn't care less that children might be around. Coincidentally, the "gang look" started to appear more and more among some of the newer residents. This is not to knock all of the newer residents, including the friendly family that moved in next to us shortly before we left; however, I had a feeling that just as the rent was skyrocketing and some minor renovations were done, the place was going downhill. Based upon that, I object to the suggestion that those of us who were driven out by the steep rent increases were somehow not meeting "high standards with some restrictions." (As far as the minor renovations went... seriously... would something more functional and substantial, like a newer air conditioner that cost less to run, have been too much to ask?) The last maintenance crew I saw there was, in fact, friendly. I actually liked them; I also felt sorry for the groundskeeper, who had to clean up the empty dumpster enclosure because people were tired of walking to the far end of the complex to dispose of their garbage.
