Lakeside Village Apartments

Love it but leaving it... From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 10/3/2006 Years at this apartment: 2004 - 2006   I personally love everything about lakeside except the ladies in the Office, and the rediculous reasons they find to charge you money. I moved from a One bedroom to a two bedroom after my year lease was up and they gave me no break on anything. I had to pay as though I was a brand new resident. The appartment was in EXACTLY the same shape it was in when I moved in but my entire security deposit was taken because they had a laundry list of things they had to "FIX" in the appartment. No inspector walked through my two bedroom to document the exsisting "problems" in the appartment so I'll be curious to see what they try to charge me for. I can say it's all there before I moved in and they can't do anything about it. It's their responsibility to send an inspector out. Even though they say they ask for permission to enter they come in without speaking to anyone. I was gone for four months and my husband was living there all by himself and he came home one day to find a brand new dishwasher installed. That was nice.... but I don't appreciate not being warned that someone will be in our home. I wouldv'e liked my husband to lock things up and such. The women in the clubhouse have got to be the most rude, unprofessional and stuck up women I have ever met. They are only there to get a paycheck... not to help residents. If you move into Lakeside you will love the appartments, parking, amenities, neighbors, park, pool EVERYTHING! Everything but the people and the fact their only goal is to take your money for stupid fees Potential lakeside village residents better have a lot of patience and a somewhat deep pocket.
