I moved in to Las Montanas about two months ago. On the day of my move in I had to immediately go to the office to advise the staff that my town home had not been turned over correctly, or at all for that matter. If you have never worked in the rental business a turn over means when the maintenance employees go into the apartment and paint, patch, spray, and fix anything and everything that needs to be be repaired. They had gone so far as to paint over the roaches, so they are a permanent eye sore for everyone to see. Mind you all this occurred after they pushed my move in date back three times because they were so busy working on my town home. After waiting for a maintenance man to arrive for over two hours and constantly calling and walking to the office, the maintenance man himself advises me he is only there for emergencies on the weekend and that I should call and put in a work order. The agent in the office finally decided to come see what I was so irate about at 5:30 p.m. At that time he advised me to his standards the town home was not in that bad of condition, and the roach feces that was stuck to the inside of the kitchen cabinets was very easy to clean. But the catch was I had to do it myself because the cleaners had already cleaned the town home, and I was already moved in. For a woman with a herniated disk in my neck that rests on my spinal cord, as I advised the agent , that was not a simple task. I suggested to him that he should hire another cleaning company if this is the type of work they did.To make matters even worse, if they could possibly get worse. That night at 12:30 a.m. the roaches all came out. We had to go purchase a seven dollar bottle of raid to try and combat the infestation of roaches so we could get some sleep.Needless to say the office still hears from me almost daily, they are still spraying every week trying to cure the roach problem, and now that I have an electrical problem which they are too cheap and possibly too incompetent to repair, they have forgotten all about the major kitchen repairs that should have been done before I ever moved in. That depressing thing is I read a couple of these reviews after I paid my deposit. But unfortunetly I gave Las Montanas the benefit of the doubt. Please do not make my mistake, they are not well maintained, nor maintained for that matter. The manager will never call you back or speak to you unless you wait outside of her door for hours when normal people are at work.I called their corporate office today to see if I can get any type of resolution to the mistake I made of signing a year lease with these people.
