We moved in when it was still Las Palmas (now Claremont Villas) and were honestly a little worried when there was a change in owners. Management however, still stayed the same: Cindy and Mary Lou are simply awesome! This place has a very friendly environment and is nice and quiet with its gated community which feels very safe. Downstairs patios have nice, high walls, feels almost like an extra room to sit around in. Hot tub and heated pool are great amenities, they're never too crowded and great to take advantage of. Monthly newsletters come out like clockwork, keeping everyone posted on special dates to keep an eye on as it's not uncommon for an event to be held in the club house, from a movie night to Thanksgiving dinner. Mary Lou's cooking is great. Sampled in small portions with the brownies and cookies in the office, to the full blown Christmas dinner which was simply amazing. Maintenance service is quick and thorough, never had any problems at all. Location is perfect as well, 24 hour K-mart is right outside. Want fastfood' Wendy's is right there too. This is a great place to live, I highly recommend it!
