I am suprised there are any negative reviews because for the money, location, and maintenance the place is wonderful. I went to college in Tucson and lived in many areas of Tucson, and for the price you can not beat it. The apartments are nice and simple, decent size rooms. The workout room is never too busy (although machines sometimes broken, but fixed quickly). The staff and management are very nice, and respond quickly to requests. The pools and jacuzzi are nice, except I do agree that more times than not the jacuzzi was in repair. They also leave the chain locks on the gates of the pool areas, which give the appearance that they are ALWAYS locked during regular hours which I found that many residents didn't even know that they could get in if they wanted. I loved my apartment and location...would recommend to anyone. Either a mature student, or young single...it is a great place, quiet and the apartments are well made so you don't hear your neighbors!! The only thing that drove me CRAZY living there was the week I moved in..(August) was Tarantula season, and there were huge, gigantic, harry, scary tarantula spiders everywhere....not in any apartments but all along the walkways, along the pool border etc. They are only visibly around for a couple weeks maybe a month in late summer but it is horrible if you are arachnophobic. Again otherwise 11 months of the year GREAT place to live! :) Oh and can't beat the price so cheap for a three bedroom!
