Years at this apartment: 2005 - 2006
I lived here for a year. My apartment flooded 3 times the first week. A pipe had broken in the wall and when the people upstairs used their sink/disposal I got a house full of dirty water. Managements' solution to the problem was to pull up the carpet and pad and blow a fan underneath (nevermind the fact that it wasn't clean water that had soaked everything)and never replaced the pad. The toilet broke twice. It was finially replaced, but installed incorrectly so it flooded the apartment as well. Termites came through the wall in two locations. The management said "they knew". The walls are very thin. The floors squeaking above me kept me awake, as well as the neighbors who screamed at eachother constantly. The list of things that needed fixed when I moved in never got fixed, despite me constantly reminding the 'management', who are never in the office anyway. They're MIA around the first of the month so they don't have to answer their residents questions or take rent. When I moved out I was charged $70 for a gate card that I had never recieved even though I had explained that to the management the last two times they asked. Overall, there were a lot of inconviences and the buildings are falling apart. Its not worth the rediculous amount of rent they charge.
