Los Portales

 

Management was very attentive at first but once we moved in they seemed to have vanished from the face of the earth.

Maintenance requests were lost several times.

My upstairs neighbors were nice fellows but extremely noisy.

Around late midnight hours during the week and on weekends, day and night, they would play music so loud my windows would vibrate.

I called security as they had promised they would help if I ever had that problem, but they did nothing about it ever, they told me it was not an emergency.

The only way out was to call the police.

On one of their social gatherings, they got so drunk one of them threw up on my porch, they thought it was hilarious, me, not so much.

I was extremely disgusted with this and reported the incident to management, they apologized and sent someone to clean up the mess but that was about it, my neighbors were not even given a verbal warning.

They are also very strict about breaking leases, there is almost no valid reason.
If I must say something nice about Los Portales apartments then I should mention the free expanded cable and the 7 HBOs, you could be watching TV all day long.
Other than that, if you unconditionally love TV then this is the place to be!
