I've lived at Los Portales for a number of years and this will be my last year at this complex. The complex is filled to compacity, the owner is not putting money back into the complex. The dumpsters are full or have furniture next to them all of the time. Crime has gone up. The walls are paper thin. Don't waste your time looking here if you want a nice place to live. When you call maintaince to repair, you'll have to call again for them to fix a second time as they try to save money doing it the cheap way instead of the right way.
