Trash, kids, crime. If you live here make sure you have full coverage on your car and apartment. Los Portales hires people without doing reference checks or background checks. They have repair people who use their keys to enter people's apartments and steal things while the renters are not there. Cars are stolen and some have been vandilized.
They keep the front looking nice so people rent, but take a look at the back before you rent. Trash by trashy people's apartments. Does management make them clean it up' No. Gun fire, cars being fired bombed (December 2006) Additional water bill is $18.00. This is too much of a dump to put up with this. Someone find me,please, a good lawyer to get out of my lease!
Forget about asking for repairs...they dismiss your request for months, if they do them at all.
Office staff does not accept packages for you from delivery drivers such as fed-ex.
Get ready to pay for your own ac filter. Get ready for them to tell you if you havent changed your ac filter and the ac unit dies, you pay for the new unit. These are 20 year old ac units the owner doesn't want to pay for himself!
